It is unlocked at level 55 and requires 21 Engram Points. In order to ride an Argentavis, you will need an Argentavis Saddle. It would only take 18 of those to tame a level 50 Argentavis, as opposed to 47 Raw Prime Meat. Their favorite kibble is made from Stego Eggs. Aiming for the head will multiply your damage by about 7 percent, meaning it is significantly faster to aim for the head when trying to knock one of these out. At level 50, knocking one of these birds out will take 9 tranquilizer darts, 27 tranquilizer arrows, or 100 hits with a slingshot. Argentavis tend to be in higher altitudes, so it is easy to find one in the northwestern part of the island. Since they are so aggressive, getting one to attack is an easy task.
